DotA is a short form of Defence of the Ancient.

in this post, im sharing something about dota. used to be one of my favourite on9 game. now is history due to university life which is full of challenge, homework and problems everyday. basically was busy with homework, assignments and some work related to my parents business.
so, im juz sharing about my dota xperience and my fav hero.
well, i started dota at my lower form 6 and get hooked with it pretty badly. wasting my free time with it and as well my study time too... dam it! its already been 3 years i hooked with it. however it is fun due to the teamwork and personal strategy. it oso challenge our spiritual and mind power as we are playing the game... bad words, bad temper, frustration, discouragement, psychotic act and many other annoying manner all around the game, including in the game and around a dota player even when they are winning... when the team start losing, the player will blame each other, calling the others feeder even without realising he/she is a feeder too. feeder is a term which means the ratio of being killed by the opposing team are way higher compare to the kills. when are winning, it is weird thing tat the dota player are frustated too... they will always cal their team ks ks ks... which means kill steal. the player who get the last hit to the other hero will get the credit. no matter wat is the condition when the player able to kill the other hero but the teammate gets the credit, he or she will call the teamate a kser... wat the... when losing, call ppl feeder, when winning, cal ppl kser... wat a lame attitude from most of the dota players... there are no such thing as dota pro for me... even u win the national competition, ur chance of winning is still 50-50 when come to against some experience player (like me!). so instead i will ask, how long u've been playing dota instead of how pro are u? wat is ur level in garena? or did u win any big dota competition? so all the people around the world who considered themselves a big head to cal themselves a pro plz dun get so lan ci calling ppl noob! u are once a noob too and u are not tat gud oso!

Naga Siren (slithice), Traxex (drow ranger), Purist Thunderwrath (omniknight), Huskar (sacred warrior), Lina Inverse (slayer) and Aiushtha (enchantress).

Naga Siren is the hero that i used for my first time and it is my most fav hero. Naga basic attribute is agility. blessed with high movemet speed, 320 basic, she enable to chase hero till they are dead... her 1st ability is mirror image, which will confuse the enemies by producing a multiple illusion of herself and enable to deals certain percentage of damage to the enemies... the second ability is ensare, which will net down an enemy causing it unable to move and this give the naga an advantage to hunt down a hero or flee away, stop its channeling spells when the net is casted upon the heroes and give the chance for allies as well as her illusion to surround it. her third skill is crictical strike, which certain percentage to deal 1.5 times the damage to enemies and the illusion have this ability too making the enemies to beg her stop hitting him/her... and her ultimate is song of siren which cause all enemies in nearby aoe (area of effect) to sleep making them unable to attack and gaining invulnerability. this ulti is usefull in giving the whole team of naga to flee away or gives a full advantage to destroy enemy's buildings or base and buying some times around especially waiting for spells to cooldown and teamates to come.

Terrorblade (soul keeper), Nevermore (shadow fiend), Balanar (night stalker), Azgalor (pit lord), Krobelus (death prophet) and Demnok Lannik (warlock).

Krobelus is the hero i always used in the dota competition or clan war as a nuker, pusher and defender. a big role in most of the game... her basic attribute is intelligence. with her ranged attack, she is able to harrass any melee hero in the early game. her first ability is carrion swarm, which can instantly damage enemies in a cone causing them hard to deny creeps and lose some hp if get hit. her second skill is silence, which can cause all the enemies in an area unable to cast any spells making the player panic when comes to group war. her third skill is witchcraft, which reduce the cooldown of the carrion swarm and the silence, reduce the mana cost of carrion swarm and add ghosts to the exorcism, making this hero to cast spells more often and stronger nuker, pusher and hero killer. and her ultimate is exorcism, which summons a number of ghosts to attack the surrounding for a period of time and give a certain percentage of hp recovery to krobelus depending on the damage had been done by the ghosts when the ghosts return to her. this huge numbers of ghost deals a very huge total damage to every enemies nearby it making this hero easily to get a triple kills, destroy tower or base and a great hp recovery.

well... juz sumthing to pass time telling story...

year 1 sem 1

amalan: we did 4 section... they are fitting, milling, welding and lathe.
for fitting, we nid to use the basic tools such as saw, chisel, drill, "metal pen", hammer n anvil to do the required shape and another shape from metal to fit into the 1st metal piece. dam tired... this required strength and i believe the girls will ask for guys help or play cheat... my product suck, barely fit into it and unable to fit in when i turn it another way round due to symetrical...
for milling, we nid to operate a milling machine... the 3 axes, x,y&z must be carefully operate due to the cutting tools moving at the same time with the time we control its movement... if not, the work piece will have a dent or some scratches on the surfaces... we are able to flattened the surfaces and make a round hole on it. the workpiece must be in a cubic or cuboid shape...
for welding, we nid to weld sumthing of coz... 2 metals separately which will end up sticking to each other... when u wear the mask, nothing u can c until the sparks is produced from the electrode rod. watever u do... do not let the electrode rod touch the metal piece or the "table". it can stick like a super glue on it... dam... i miss a class... sien... due to RnI fest...
for lathe, we nid to control the lathe machine... the rules are the same with the milling, 3 axes. the difference is we move the work piece instead of the cutting tools. and the work piece must be in cylinder shape... we nid to change the cutting tools a few time to produce different shape with different process (drill, groove and mill). the workpiece is rotating in fast speed all the way...

year 1 sem 2

amalan: we also did another 4 parts... this is more "fun"! we did pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, foundry and hydraulics...
for pneumatics, we r handling with d compressed air. we used it 2 make the mechanical part 2 do work. have u ever wonder when the bus door open, it will produce a weird gas released sound? we are "playing" with those things by using tube instead of wire to connect the components.
for electro-pneumatics, it is a combination of electrical and pneumatics circuit in order to produce some output... so basically we are handling the input (switch and logic gates) with the electrical circuit and all the output (piston, light and etc) with the pneumatic circuit.
for foundry, it is a concept of producing a product with molten aluminum (or other metal). we designed a desired shape by using a styrofoam. then we use a metal case and half filled it with silicon sand and compress it. put the work piece styrofoam on the sand and burry it. build a "bridge" by using styrofoam and place it from the work piece to the surface of the sand. bury the whole thing and make sure the sand were compressed too. we nid to carefully load the metal pail with the molten and wear a proper clothes and used a proper tools to carry the pail. then, pour the molten on the bridge till the molten overflow a little bit on the sand surface. wait 1 hour and slowly remove all the sands away. tadaa... here goes the product...
for hydraulics, we are handling with the liquids pressure and velocity. with this we are able to use the hyraulics power to make the machines to do work. however, when it reaches my group's turn, the machine happen to be broken down. so wat i learn is the theory and calculations. zzz...

year 2 sem 1

amalan: as usual 4 parts... this time is computerized machine thingy... CNC milling, CNC lathe, EDM wire cut and EDM die sinking.
for CNC milling, the machine is juz like the conventional milling machine but we operate it using a software in computer instead of manually. CNC stands for computer numerical control. using all the G and M codes can drive u crazy! juz use ur imaginary, common sense and basic maths skills to produce some shape or holes on the square shape work piece. this is the easiest...
for CNC lathe, the machine is also like the conventional lathe machine but more advance in the terms of its function and its limit to produce a more complicated shape or designed of a cylinder work piece. of coz, ur work on the computer program is more complicated too. the dimension of the project nid to calculate properly if there is any shape concerning with the radius. the hardest!
for EDM wire cut, we used a designing software such as autocad, solid work and etc etc to do the drawing of the product. EDM stands for electrical discharge machining. it used the wire made of copper to cut the workpiece. it is a slow process but very accurate. good for complex and small shape thing. juz enter the file from the design software into the machine, adjust the workpiece and juz hit the start button. everything will be done in the few hours. did the kingdom hearts for this. i designed it with my autocad skill... nice and it is a killable object due to sharp end.
for EDM die sinking, we used the electrode which made of copper to make a certain shape on the work piece. basically we nid to design the shapes on the electrode. juz like the way how u wana make a "mark" on ur house using the hot metal. then lock ur metal work piece on the magnet bench and fill everything up with kerosene. and do sum complex set up and then wait till it stop.

was back at kl from penang about 2pm. however, i juz accompany my fren who nid to waste his time for his bus which will arrive at 9pm. so we went to eat at petaling street, time square, sg wang, pavilion, bac to time square, mamak and finally bac to puduraya bus stop... lots of leng lui to kap these days in kl... :L

went to low yat... get bac the dvd drives... bought the laptop cleaner and 8gb pendrive... the pendrive now only selling at rm43... can format the pendrives in 2 partition... 1 is for private and 1 is for public... not bad...

after around 1.30, we went for clubbing... this time is 1st time dance... haha... usually i will sit down and drink...

went to mid valley... almost let a car hit me... wat la... say straight... suddenly cal me turn right... 1st time used the road tat kenson guide me... haih... of coz, i know the other way... meet up with chuan ping and ee lian... ee lian have more pleasant look compare to when she is my classmates in form 6... girls really can transform eh? step into the garden for the 1st time... all of them were like no mood to walk around the garden... zzz... then the girls are super duper boring... bac so early... wat the.??? 1 bac and the other 3 follow... zzz...

ying huey suddenly said she nid to bac early... apa pun tak boleh buat... only can bowling and eat... and she sound no mood to go... so i cal her to ffk only la... i tel ken and dao 4 her... end up i ajak ken and dao go cc... played dota, counter strike and call for duty 4... call for duty is my very 1st time to play... not bad tho... dota nowadays all the pro are all missing... or did i become pro??? was playing in garena and for the 2 games there are leavers from the opposite side... after i pawn them... lame huh? y? i started bac 2 dota on this holiday and there are so many coward dota player already...

tiz oso sucks... ying huey said she gonna cal swee luo and ajak her out... maybe after her service... so i spare my 4 hours waiting for the msg... end up no response... somehow i knew it... its too rush for me too... juz wana meet up and talk talk... so later, went out shopping with my mum as planned... got myself a t-shirt and a sport shirt (for tennis)... free gift? a back bag...

preparation to bac to johor already... mum pushing me to get a new wallet for myself... telling me to buy the wallet with the patition to keep syillings... then packing lo...

i can blog this in advance because i can predict wat is gonna happen...
i drive bac to parit raja and register my room and unpack all the stuffs... then rest till nite and have dinner outside... then sumhow i knew my fren goin to cal me for dota... but i will play doom 3 and dun wana choi them... sumhow i know i will end up dota-ing with them... :P

y i felt tat the holiday is short??? back to university. today study, sports, nap, eat, study on9 to do research and repeat all this from mon to fri... sat training and sunday rest and homework. repeat all of this for every week till end of the sem... haih... all the boring and torturing time is like forever... ok... every1 does... who likes pain?

it happen 2 days after my return to KL which fall on the 8th... well... since it is penang trip, i will blog mostly on the historical things and the foods...

well, the bus ticket i bought is at 3pm so i can take my own sweet time to pack on the morning itself... juz as expected it was a terrible traffic jam due to holiday season... every1 was busy visiting here and there... ok... cut the crap... me, kang yao, wei lun and ah pua are all coursemates... 4 of us will be waiting at the puduraya for the 3pm bus...

08/12/2008:
well, it is 5 hours journey to penang compare to car which only took 3 and half hours. the bus moved at 3.30 and finally reach there about 8.30. my fren's fren took us at about 9 and bring us for dinner: for the 1st time i ate the crab with the shells together... deep fried crab... yummy... ok... this is like a pure chinese style... so many dishes... well, i suggest tat four of us pay for the dishes but then... my fren was giving the waiter the money but then the guys hand (my fren's fren) push my frens hand who are holding the money away. at least there is a drama to show them we are not the type to eat for free... making them feel abit easier compared if we do not show any interest to pay for the food... haha... typical chinese...
then we round round in the penang island... like in the tourist bus... somehow, the guy down to earth attitude attract me... he keep on condeming the BN, the malays and the government style of work which all i agreed to... 1st he mentioned about the hari raya haji which made all the road jam, second he gave a name to BN, Babi Nasional and always mentioned how they do their work (due to tat he voted for rocket) and finally the government which slow down all our potential (due to bribes, the advantages for the bumiputra and the limitation activity for economy's growth) which i cant agree more...
then finally around 11.30, we meet up with Dr K at McD. then we headed home to the guy's gf house... then we juz load our bags (not luggage) into 1 room and we sleep in the room oso...
later, went out for supper: tong sui... lots of things in tat bowl...
at the nite... was watching anime... the last love song in this little planet... and guess wat... my frens used my camera to snap tiz hell pic...
no 18sx scene... me watching the show with my laptop while waiting for fren to come out from the bathroom...
my cap rite on top of the mouse... planning to wear cap due to sun burned... im already dark! need cap during my penang trip to avoid more sun burn on my face...

dinner: wantan mee + sotong bakar + grilled fish + balitong + soya bean + cincau... ENO plz...
went to gurney plaza later for a walk and movie... watched transporter 3... nice movie... the heroine ugly... yuck...
then went out to another nearby beach (i tink still in gurney...). kinda nice structure here... and the kebab beside this thing smells dam nice... hungry... yumm... but then i did not buy it. lol...

7th location: auto city
supper: blueberry toast + hazelnut coffee at old town white coffee...
next is Stephy's home... overnite here... lol... watched the love guru... while watching, i slept thru some parts... lol... dam tired...

6th location: the snake's temple... under renovation... ==

7th location: a familiar temple... where there are many shops beside it... went here once. got a t-shirt from here.

i'd love to step it... really cant c it... juz on the grass without any fence...

dinner: tomyam noodle + fish (better than the malay's)

went 2 batu ferringhi 4 kayak... my latest sport now... we kayak until the next beach... about 20 mins away from the starting point... luckily no turn over... the waves tat day is quite number... there are a few strong 1... nid to watch up to make a turn... me on the front of the red boat...

safe return... after spend about 20mins at the other side of the beach... saw a young hot mala

Suksis Sem 3

a 12 days of training programme... 3 days KL, 3 days marching, 1 day m16, 4 days camping and 1 day preparation. no break... working from 7 to 11 (singing like in the love guru movie... lol?).


starting from 23rd of Nov to 4th of Dec. so as usual, the 1st day is 23rd...

1st to 3rd day: Journey to KL (my home... miss u...).
well, i did not snap any pic here coz most of the place i went is unable to bring in cameras. however, i did curi curi snap pic by using my slim hp. however, same old reason, bluetooth prob.

1st day: journey to UM.
get a hostel 9 aka KK Zahiruddin at kemboja block. juz stay in the hostel and rest...

2nd day: journey to PDRM's forensics lab (juz around my house) and institut integriti malaysia.
in the forensic lab, we are not allowed to bring in cameras. it is because watever in this lab is a country's secret. from accident cases to rape cases and to murder cases is all covered here. how they get proves from the crime scene is revealed here.... interesting... all the gadgets they show us, how to take the footprint bac to lab, scan for blood and semen, scan for false money, scan for mykad and how to extract the DNA to test for drugs, diseases or other thing is also revealed but not in detail.
the institut integriti malaysia is boring juz by hearing its name... ceramah... bla bla bla... how to become a gud person, avoid bribes and all the morals value... however, its incredible tat i did not sleep tho im tired. the speaker are gud...
3rd day: journey to PDRM's museum and Unit Berkuda PDRM
as the name mentioned, museum, it muz be the history of pdrm... from the start for every state in malaysia including sabah and sarawak. oh yah, here the cameras are also forbidden. snap some pic by using my hp camera tho the cctv is around me but somehow and somewhere i felt tat there are no 1 watching me thru the cctv. snap a few pic with the guns, rifle, sniper bullets, machine guns and other. same old reason... bluetooth prob... :D
unit berkuda pdrm is located behind my dad's shop. well they show us the function of the organization. wat they do, why they are established and when they are needed. y basically they are the sentry or some1 who are looking around. y they established? easy only... it is important to look from above in a crowded area. such as street concert or somewhere it is wide open juz like the titiwangsa. tho u can c far but u can reach the far distance in short time. when they are needed? during riot, during forest hunting criminal and during a crowd event but if traffic jam at tat time this horse are out! yay! get to ride on the horse... the fella teach me how to command the horse. kik it side to move... the faster u hit it, the faster it will move... dang... it hit it quite fast... felt i wana fall from it... the pic? my fren lose it... dam him.
later v travelled bac to batu pahat... end of excitement, here comes the pain!!!

4th day: marching n m16 theory revision...
marching... no nid to talk bout it. every1 noes. well v juz did some revision about m16... nothing special.

5th day: M16 practices and competition...
they reload the magazine for us... tho v noe how to do tat, they afraid v take extras. a magazine only contained 10 bullets... the max is 20 or 30 depending on the spring in the magazine. however, the give us 10 so tat v can learn how to reload the gun...

BANG!!! the 1st bullets fired really gives me a shock... dam freaking loud! for my 1st while kneeling down... i felt the impact from beside me when my fren fired... thus, it made my aiming run off... due to the impact of coz... then after the 1st 10 bullets i fired... i get used to the environment of noisiness... now the neighbour's firing does not effect my emotion already...
well my score during practice is only 40/100 which 9 bullets miss out of 20... then adjust adjust... finally get 77/100. 1 bullet missed out of 20... :D. my classmate, fadzli is the revolver sharpshooter and now he is the m16 sharpshooter oso... he got talent. never shoot b4 beat all the senior except for 2 senior... gud eh? well the best shooter is a gurl however, in the competition she mess up a bit... and the 2nd runner up, our sarjan, a boy won over her place... hehe... anyway... for 3 days my i've been hearing the sound tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii tuuuuuuuuuuuu... v did not wear the earguard during the shooting... the coach said tiz "in war u wun b able to wear it". true oso... gosh the 1st nite, when i wan to sleep the sound is getting louder and louder... juz like in the quiet forest where u can hear all the crickets and grasshopper are doing party... annoying...

well i wanted to post the target tat i shoot juz like i did for the revolver. however, the cleaner clean up my room and throw tat away and my junk food is gone too. F**K it!
6th day: marching! nothing special... cant hear the command clearly due to the shooting.

7th day: marching again! im dying... barbequed... almost recovered... still blur especially when the command is given at my left side...
8th day: preparation for camping...
recoved from the hearing prob... i guess so... but still i cant hear as clear as before the m16 practices...
the demo to stand up the camp is shown to us... well... i guess i juz learn how to stand up the main portion... the others? no nid la... use common sense...
then v load all the stuffs into the track which will head to jungle together with us on the next day.

9th day: journey to the jungle...
guess my hearing is ok now...
v reached by noon... clear the forest... the grass is about 30cm tall and there are a few small and medium size tree (about 20 to 50cm). flattened the ground in no time... time for us to stand up our camp and put all our stuffs in... for the whole day is all taklimat about the activities v are about to do for the next 2 days... well... it is for the pre-caution and the method of doing it. at nite, there will be a sentry duty... most of us will get the "chance" to do it. well mine is the next nite... at 4am to 5am...

every group get their parts of ration... basically from wat i c, it can last us a week in the jungle... later on we cook together... heres our so called "lunch". rice with sardin fish and chicken (the yellow colour stuff on the left)...


at nite the food is porvided... no cooking ourselves. yay...

oh yeah... the toilet is build up juz by using the canvas cloth and a few metal pillar... so muz wear undies when bath... and the toilet is juz too gross too... canvas cloth acting as a door... dam it if ppl come over while u are shitting... tats y i took all the trouble to go to the plkn camp which nids a 20min journey from my camp to use the toilet... oh yeah... the toilet is shared by 70+ guys... juz imagine the toilet condition in the morning... however, get use to it the next day...

10th day: compass reading and map reading, build raft and laluan berhalangan...
1st thing 1st... breakfast... duh... v nid to wake up around 6 to cook... but v elected ppl to cook of coz... me not included... snore like a pig (snork snork...).

after we are done breakfast... compass and map reading time... each group consisting of about 12 members are required to find the next 5 check points. its not a race but unlucky for my group and the another group. the coach said v have the hardest 2 route... zzz... lucky my group got another chinese... can chit chat while v are walking in the long journey...

after the gruesome and get lost in about 5 to 6 different landscape, which cost us about 4 hours, we finally reached the final point and get the taste of ice kacang... then v started to walk back. but not using all the route tat v came... v used the rocky road back... half way... something happen... not going to mention here... juz type this to remember tat thing happened... but definitely not get tripped and fell. :D
here comes our 2nd lunch. cant complain from the look. but it delicious... hmm maybe it was cooked with fire instead of gas... sambal ikan bilis and long beans with rice.


next... SHIT I FORGOT TO SNAP PIC... was busy helping to tie up the raft... cant forgive myself for this... argh... however, we juz build up our raft. all the knots are to be make sure is tight enough, if not... u noe the consequences by using ur brain. then we keep it in the store for the next day...

b4 v got into dinner, v did the physical task, laluan berhalangan... those who undergo plkn will noe about tiz. is lame if i bring my camera for this kind of activities... 1st task: jump over a horizontal pole. juz about 50cm height. 2nd task run over a pond using the 2 hanging wood... kinda shaky... 3rd task jump over a wall (2 meter i guess). tiz i skip... my stomach full of water. lol... 4th task monkey pole. skipped too. coach no c. if fall down my shoe will wet coz i only have 1 pair of shoe left. another 1 "KO" already. 5th task juz run on a very high path with a gap... 6th task i juz called it as "tarzan" swing... swing across a pond... i made it. about half of guys didnt make it and almost all the girls do not make it. lol... 7th tunnel crawl... nothing la... 8th task commondo crawl. juz crawl below the rough wire... did not get wet... phew. play cheat on the monkey pole. lol...

11th day: kayak and flying fox.
breakfast... fried rice with baked beans and mashed eggs and breads with tuna...


here is wat v are talking about... 1st i went for the rafting... its kinda simple but it is slow especially my side... lazy bums... those girls are so weak... the guys at my side work hard to paddle...

next stop... flying fox... 45 meter in height... only afraid when i climbing up... on the flying fox is nothing... dam... muz shout to report...


now... preparation for tonight closing ceremony... each group need to come out with a show... our group do a "pentomen". im acting as a disabled beggar who fake his disability and ask for money to make an easy income... zzz... do the karaoke and the whole prize giving... bla bla is oredy 1am... sleepy but nid to clear the hall at the end... zzz...

12th day: journey back to UTHM...
after clearing, cleaning and unpack including bringing down the camp, v had our very last breakfast... not taking tiz breakfast pic coz it is juz a fried maggie mee... every1 c it b4... here is the pic of our food disposal b4 v burried it...

BACK TO KL ON THE 5TH EVENING... FINALLY... AFTER MY CAR SERVICE IN THE MORNING... YAY... TIME TO HAVE FUN!!!
